About Chase Ladders

Charles started his career in the aluminium access equipment industry in 1962, working for Gravity Ladders in Pickford St. Birmingham. After being headhunted by Lyte Ladders, Charles moved his family down to Newport, South Wales to take up his new position. In 1987 Charles decided that he could do it better, left Lyte and founded Chase Ladders in a factory unit in Newport. The Company has developed its product range over the years and generally concentrates on the Industrial sector of the market.

The Company work to the highest standards and are proud to achieve and adhere to a formal Quality Management System registered to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 (BSI registration No. FM14201). The Company undertakes all of its own quality checks and audits in accordance with this standard. All of the Company’s products are manufactured from materials conforming to BS2037:1994 Class 1 and are suitable for Industrial use.

Charles’ son, Chris is the current managing director having joined the company in 2000 from the HVAC Industry. Chris is a qualified mechanical engineer and has grown up with ladders !

Custom Ladder & Work Platform Fabrication

In addition to the standard ladder, steps and work platform product range available, the Company can also manufacture a range of specially designed products to suit individual customer requirements. Using state of the art CAD software we can supply custom-made work platforms, special steps, ladders and general fabrications.

We have an extensive design portfolio of industrial quality bespoke access solutions that we have built up over the years. Our ladders and work platforms have been supplied to the Nuclear Industry, Nationally based public and private bodies, adventure expeditions and law enforcement to name but a few. We can ship globally if required previously sending products as far afield as Nepal and South East Asia.

Consultancy Services

It is a legal requirement to comply with the Work At Height Regulations (WAHR) 2005. As experts in our field we can help solve your work at height problem. CHASE Ladders have successfully project managed and provided work platforms, ladders and other access engineering solutions for many nationally based organisations such as the Royal Mail, Magnox Nuclear, Eon Energy and Contico.

We can also assist with any queries you may have with British Standards involving access equipment, both fixed and portable.
