The terms and conditions apply to the supply of goods or services from Chase Manufacturing Limited trading as chaseladders.co.uk, to you the customer, and by placing an order, you agree to be bound by them. Our terms and conditions will take precedence over any terms and conditions supplied or referred to by you the customer. No part of these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
When you place an order, it will be treated as an offer by you to purchase, and we reserve the right to accept, or not accept any order at our discretion. Dispatch of your goods will signify our acceptance of your order and will constitute a legally binding contract between us the seller and you the purchaser under these Terms & Conditions.
All pictures, illustrations and any technical data and information used on this site are for illustrative purposes only and show or represent the product described as accurately as possible. However, where product illustrations or photographs are unavailable or unsuitable, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative picture which most closely resembles that product.
We endeavour to provide accurate material descriptions, sizes, heights and weights of all our products, however due to the constant development of the products we manufacture and supply, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy and such information should be treated only as a guide.
Prices & Payment
All prices shown on our website exclude VAT and delivery within the time and geographical restrictions shown. The total price shown in your shopping cart when checking out is the price you will be charged and includes VAT. A full VAT invoice will be emailed to you upon completion of the order process. Please check your email inbox for this receipt as we do not send receipts by post.
You may pay for your order by credit or debit card using our Paypal gateway or electronic bank transfers, however we cannot dispatch any goods until cleared funds arrive in our bank account, therefore an extended delivery time must be anticipated for some non-instant payment methods. Please contact our team on 01633 281800 should you require help or advice when paying for your order.
We will make every reasonable endeavour to ensure your goods arrive on the day you expect. However, we shall not be held liable for any consequential losses, damages or expenses incurred by you the purchaser or any third party, arising directly or indirectly out of late or non delivery of your order or part thereof. Our liability is limited to refunding any surcharges you may have paid for services we were unable to fulfill. We respectfully advise that you should not arrange for contractors, fitters or workmen who require the items in your order, to attend site before your order has arrived and you have checked it thoroughly. Title and risk in the goods shall pass to you the purchaser upon delivery and receipt by our courier of a signed delivery note. Please understand that items ordered and delivered, but refused at the point of delivery for reasons such as “too heavy”, “too long”, ” too short” or “not suitable” will only be credited when the item is returned to us by our courier in an undamaged & saleable condition. The cost of the goods will then be credited in full, less the cost of return carriage to our warehouse. Please therefore, check all sizes & descriptions carefully prior to ordering, if in doubt please contact us on 01633 281800 for advice or guidance.
If for whatever reason you wish to return an item, you may do so at any time up to 14 days after receiving the goods* for a full refund. You must inform us in writing or by email of your intention to return the goods within this 14 day period and return the goods un-used, undamaged and in their original packaging and in a sale-able condition together with the sales receipt, ensuring that the goods are adequately insured during their return journey. You the purchaser will be responsible for return carriage costs, unless the returned goods prove defective or faulty through no fault of your own, in which case we will refund the return transport costs in full. Only after we receive the returned goods in a sale-able condition can we refund the value of the goods in full. Please be aware that refunds can take up to 14 days to be processed and appear in your account.
*Please note this applies to standard stock items and not to ‘made to order or custom/bespoke manufactured products. Please check suitability of these items carefully before ordering, as re-stocking, delivery and collection charges will apply if you need to exchange these items.

Returns & Replacements
Chase Manufacturing Ltd offers a 14 Day No Quibble Guarantee as stipulated by law (Consumer Rights Directive 2013). Our 14 day no quibble guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition and in adequate packaging within 14 days of the date you received the item. We will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item within 14 days of receiving the item back in our warehouse (you will only have to pay for the delivery, unless the item is faulty).
Certain items are excluded from this guarantee. This includes items that are made to measure or made to order.

How Do I Cancel an Order?
If you want to cancel an order that has not yet been delivered then you need to contact us as soon as possible. We will try and stop delivery so that a delivery charge is not incurred. Orders are normally processed immediately so we may have already packaged your order and made arrangements for it to be sent to you. If this is the case then we cannot always stop the order from being sent.
If you have received a delivery and you want to cancel the order, and return the goods, then you need to call, or email to make us aware of this.
In both cases it will be helpful if you have the order number (from your order confirmation) and the date you placed the order. We will expect the goods to be received back in our warehouse within 10 working days from notification of cancellation.
Please note: We will not refund your costs in returning the item to us unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is faulty.
We cannot cancel items made to your requirements if the manufacture of this item has been started. If you wish to cancel a bespoke product and the technical drawing has already been created, there may be a charge to cancel your order.
For your protection we recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery service. We cannot issue refunds for goods that fail to reach us. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
Our returns policy does not cover goods made to order or bespoke items. They are not returnable.
How Do I Return My Order?
Please ensure that you contact us before returning anything.
Returns should be made within 30 days and in an adequate condition and suitably packaged for transit. You must include the original dispatch note in the package you are returning to us. Call us on 01633 281800 or email us at [email protected] to notify us you’d like to return your item. Please quote your order number on your returned item.

When Will I get My Refund?
All returns arriving at our warehouse are processed within 3 working days. Unless we need to contact you further your refund will usually be processed with 7 days of receiving the returned goods and the absolute maximum time taken should be no more than 30 days from you first contacting us to organise the return.
Please remember that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.
About your Statutory Rights
Returning goods to Chase Manufacturing Ltd for any reason does not affect your statutory rights. By law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered.
