The SPITFIRE LF VB (often written as Spitfire LF Mk VB) was a variant of the iconic Supermarine Spitfire, a British single-seat fighter aircraft used primarily by the Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War II. The LF VB was one of the many versions and subtypes of the Spitfire that were developed during the war to improve its performance and adapt to different combat scenarios.

The Spitfire LF VB played a significant role in the defense of Britain during the early years of World War II, including the Battle of Britain. Its ability to perform effectively at lower altitudes made it suitable for engaging enemy aircraft and providing support to ground forces. It was just one of the many adaptations of the Spitfire, which remained in production and service throughout the war, with various versions fulfilling different roles, from intercepting enemy bombers to conducting ground attack and reconnaissance missions.
