The Commercial Surveyor’s Unit (CSU) range uses sectional components to provide a maximum ladder length of 3.65m, while remaining small enough to carry in the boot of a car.

Lateral Base Stabilising Bars

We are pleased to offer lateral base stabilising bars on our CSU range as a factory-fitted option.

Although slot-together sectional ladders are not currently covered specifically by BS EN 131-1:2015, other leaning ladders over 3 metres are required to be fitted with lateral base stabilising bars. In line with good practice and safety guidance, this option helps improve side stability during use.
